Every time we read about a child who has been abused we have an urge to act and over time this intention fizzles away, until the next gory act recurs. WHO in 2002 estimated that 73 million boys and 150 million girls under the age of 18 had experienced various forms of sexual violence.
Every 5th Child in India thought to face critical forms of Child Abuse. 40% of India’s children are susceptible to threats (being homeless, trafficking, crime etc.). In 95% of cases of child abuse, the perpetrator is known to the child.
The stakeholders who play a role in preventing abuse are children, parents, teachers, police & judiciary and lay citizens.

Darshan Mutha, is an Education Entrepreneur. He has been working in education administration for close to 17 years. He is the Managing Director of AdityaEdu Ventures, an education consulting and management company. He has worked on and incubated and operated close to 12 educational institutions in the country. He has worked with Jain Group of Institutions, University of Pittsburgh, Shasun Foundation, Panchshil and Muthoot Group among the many others.
Apart, he was the National YUVA Chair’s of CII Yi last year and now heads the New Membership Iniviative for Yi National. He has also represented India during the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit,
Sharada is a seasoned Administrative Assistant with over 7 years of expertise in the field. She has extensive experience with all administrative tasks, including scheduling and correspondence. Sharada is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of various clients. She is able to interact directly with potential and existing clients, and has increased customer satisfaction.
Sharada graduated from Bangalore University with a Bachelor of Commerce. She started her career with the IT Companies and served for over 4 years before joining the Private Companies.
Presently, Sharada is working for a management consultant company, Born to Win. Born to Win helps companies produce tangible, desired Results through a self-discovery process which transforms Team Members to perform effectively and to manage challenges continuously.
Being in Born to Win, she has learnt the art of facilitation and she facilitates the Probono program which Born to Win conducts for the underprivileged students to build their self confidence and how to make their dreams come to reality. In addition to her duties, Sharada volunteers in many programs organized by her community.
