There is a deafening silence with regard to Noise Pollution. Vehicle honking in traffic dons the dubicious cap of being the largest noise maker throughout the world. Unnecessary honking causes noise pollution.
According to the World Health Organisation, Noise pollution is only second to Air Pollution in its impact on healt.Noise disrupts activity & balance in life. A major cause of hearing loss, it also associated with heart
problems, learning difficulties and sleep disturbances.
Horn Not OK Please is an awareness campaign initiated by CII – Young Indians to reduce noise pollution from unnecessary honking on our streets.

There could be a need to use a horn while driving . A short beep is usually adequate to alert drivers around us. Use your horn in emergencies and not to vent your frustration. It will not clear traffic jams , nor will it change the colour of the signal.

He currently works as Head – International Business Development in SLN Technologies Pvt. Ltd. SLN Technologies is an Electronics Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) company. The company is nationally recognised for delivering Mission/Safety critical Embedded systems to some of the flagship programs of INDIA. For e.g. 1) It has designed, developed and commissioned the Servo control system for the 32 meter dia antenna used for the chandrayaan – I mission and Mangalyaan mission; 2) It has designed, developed and tested hardware for the black box of an lead fighter aircraft of Indian Air Force. He is playing an active role in developing International Business for the company. He an active member of Confederation of Indian Industries – Young Indians Bangalore Chapter.
