The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of the Indian Independence Day made a clarion call for Swachh Bharat, a mass movement to create awareness of cleanliness and hygiene. He said that a clean India is the best tribute that we could pay Mahatma Gandhi when we celebrate his 150th birth anniversary in 2019.
Yi through various initiatives looks to contribute in our own way to align with Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Mission for a clean and healthy India by 2019.
Our initiatives at Bangalore would look at diverse sectors – Urban Settlements , public spaces, industrial & technology parks and lakes across our city. Through a mix of activities and advocacy events , we hope to have the entire city think “Swachh”.
Is there a road that you think we could get cleaned together? Do you know of a school that needs a toilet? Connect with us and together we can make a difference.
